Hello and Welcome!

I tell wedding stories.  I use my creative eye to perfectly capture the bridal preparations in the morning, to partying on the dancefloor in the evening. And everything in between.  If you're looking for a photographer for your wedding, you'll naturally want to see images from lots of different weddings, from each part of the day, and at similar locations and time of the year to the day you have planned.  Well, you've come to the right place.  I don't have time to blog every wedding, but I keep this page updated with a good selection.  Barns, beach weddings, marquees, country manors... you'll find it all here!  Plus a few pre-wedding shoots into the bargain.

The quality of my work is recognised by the prestigious Master Photographers Association, but more importantly, by my clients, whose wonderful feedback you can read here.  Please take a look at some of my recent work and do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.

Hello and welcome to my blog! As a Sussex wedding photographer, finding time to blog in the Summer months is challenging to say the least, but I'm determined to publish Jamie and Peter's super relaxed pre-wedding shoot before their big day. As I write, Jamie and Peter will be tying the knot tomorrow, at picturesque Selden Barns near Worthing. OK,...

OK, so I am neck-deep in wedding editing, but I am absolutely determined to blog this fab Brookfield Barn wedding from last Summer before June is out! So here goes.... When Laura and Andy approached me to photograph their wedding, I jumped at the chance: the couple sounded lovely in their emails, and this would also be my first opportunity to capt...

Cissbury Barns Wedding: Chris + Iain

May 31, 2018  •  Leave a Comment
"Help, I can't find the right photographer!" Bride-to-be, Chris, wanted a truly personal wedding at beautiful Cissbury Barns, with a bespoke ceremony, and suppliers that she could relate to and trust. Happily, whilst at the venue, she had already met celebrant Claire Bradford of Creating Ceremony, and knew instantly that Claire would be perfect to...

Danielle + Vikki | fun engagement shoot on Shoreham Beach

April 17, 2018  •  Leave a Comment
It's funny how things turn out. Back in 2015 I met a lovely same sex couple in Brighton who were planning their wedding on stunning Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay, Cornwall. I jumped at the opportunity and had an absolute blast, capturing Jo and Anna in their finery several feet deep in the North Sea (all three of us, that is, right after the ceremon...

Brighton Royal Pavilion Wedding | Claire + Michael

March 21, 2018  •  Leave a Comment
I had been wanting to photograph a wedding at Brighton's Royal Pavilion for some time, so was hugely excited when I received an enquiry asking whether I could photograph an intimate wedding there "in just three weeks' time"! Although the date was June, which is generally my busiest month of the year, it was to be held on a Thursday, which happily m...

Pangdean Old Barn Wedding | Jemma + Dean

February 20, 2018  •  Leave a Comment
It's not uncommon for a couple to tell me at a wedding fair just how totally un-photogenic they are, and how much they're dreading their wedding photos. But Jemma and Dean were quite possibly one of the most camera-shy couples I've ever met! That said, the photography was for them a really important part of their wedding, which was to be held at Ho...

Long Furlong Barn Wedding | Bryony + Chris

January 26, 2018  •  2 Comments
I love talking wedding photography (I met with up with a photographer friend in Brighton this week, and we talked about nothing else for 4 hours!) So when I first met Chris and Bryony I was extremely excited to learn that Chris knew a thing or two about photography. I probably talked way more than I should have done, but when I get asked the kind o...

My Favourites from 2017 | The Colour Edit

January 04, 2018  •  Leave a Comment
Hello and a very Happy New Year to all my readers! If I found it difficult choosing my favourite 2017 Black & White images for my last blog, that was nothing compared with selecting the best colour images! In fact, for many of the photos I chose, there were at least 3 others I could have picked - and on a different day, probably would have! After...

Arundel Town Hall Wedding | Tuesday + Joe

December 07, 2017  •  Leave a Comment
I remember really clearly first meeting Tuesday and Joe - it was at a Belles Events Wedding Fair on Valentines Day at The Dome in Worthing. Tuesday's (then) ten year old son was with them, and I remember commenting on their striking blue eyes. We talked about their Arundel Town Hall wedding, which was to be an April ceremony for about 40 guests, wi...

Brighton Town Hall Wedding | Claire + Mark

November 17, 2017  •  1 Comment
I've really enjoyed all my Brighton Town Hall Weddings! For a start, the architecture inside the early 19th Century Town Hall is stunning. But for me, a Brighton wedding photographer who loves the sea, it's the fact of being a short amble over to Brighton beach and Pier that makes this such a great location for a non-religious ceremony. So when Cla...

Worthing Dome Wedding | Sarah + Jason

September 26, 2017  •  Leave a Comment
I've come to the conclusion that blogging is a bit like exercise - you miss a week or two for lack of time, and then another week, then another, and before you know it, it's been a month or two and it's hard to get back into the habit. The problem is, when you blog and then don't blog, it looks to the casual observer like you haven't got anything t...

Long Furlong Barn Wedding | Holly + Martin

July 28, 2017  •  1 Comment
My last blog post featured Holly and Martin's fun and relaxed pre-wedding shoot at Nymans National Trust gardens. Here I'm showcasing the couple's equally fun and relaxed wedding, which was held three months later at picturesque Long Furlong Barn in the heart of the Sussex Downs. It's a venue I photograph weddings at regularly and at all times of y...
